DIY Installation Tips

• Cut from the backside using a sharp utility knife.

• Clear area of dirt and debris. A power washer can come in handy here. Get the surface you plan to adhere the turf to as clean as possible.

• Secure edges with a simple construction adhesive or commercial carpet tape.

• For seams, carpet tape works well. Some companies sell special seam tape.

• For high traffic areas ( areas that experience a lot of friction forces) it is a good idea to lay a little extra carpet tape or construction adhesive.

• Since the turf comes tightly rolled, it takes a few days for it to fluff up. Some professionals use a special brush tool to fluff the turf up. This step is not necessary if you are willing to wait a few days for it to reach its full potential.
